COUNTRYSIDE VIEWS FROM A NEW BALCONY

I love it when my clients want to show me how things turned out.

This scheme is one of my favourites.

In a beautiful setting, with countryside views, this house needed to be reconfigured.

The brief included

* a new staircase to replace the old one
* changes to the structure to open up the entrance hall
* making the property accessible throughout the ground floor,
* alterations to the rear to extend the dining and kitchen areas
* replacement of the outdated balcony, including its structure and finish
*improved connection to the surrounding views from all rooms
*first floor reconfiguration to master bedroom and bathroom

New build energy efficient house

We are due to submit to the Local Authority a new scheme, to demolish an existing bungalow and replace it with an energy efficient two storey dwelling. The scheme will comprise 3 bedrooms, a large living room, ground floor shower room, utility, dining room and spacious kitchen with dining room to the rear. Our focus is to create a house that requires very little heat, will have underfloor heating, an air source heat pump and will provide a quality dwelling for the future on the outskirts of York.
