At Crescent Architects we are looking at innovative ways that our design expertise and experience of construction can be put to good use during this time of crisis. We are taking on new clients throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, as by spending more time in our homes we are finding our clients can really evaluate how their current homes make them happy, and what would make them better. We are finding it increasingly clear that a simple and effective way to create a sense of calm, and a feeling of control, is to start with some positive thinking, and to then work through the things that need changing. For example, do you really need an extra room? What would happen if you could repurpose an existing space? Is home working something that you want to continue with in the future, and is the set up you have currently going to be sustainable in the future? Would an extension solve a layout problem, or make it worse and why would yo look to deplete your savings without adding value?
