Planning and Renovation This month we have faced major planning hurdles, from schemes that required ecology reports, to tree reports, heritage assessments, bat surveys and conservation restrictions. It has demonstrated to us how essential it is to work with the local authority where ever possible in the early stages of submission. It has allowed us to demonstrate to our clients how important it is to ensure that your agent really does liaise on your behalf, by updating and keeping our clients in the loop when it comes to the decision process. We have helped turn around a nightmare situation for one particular client, who was living on a building site and had to bring works to a halt when unfortunately their dream scheme, developed by another designer, was refused Planning Permission part way through works on site. We worked together with the client and some expert assistance from our Planning Consultants, to take the refusal, split it into several submissions, adjust the sch
