Planning Drawings

PLANNING – STAGE 3 The planning drawings develop from the feasibility and concept stage by looking in much greater detail at the exterior. Developments at this stage include window choices, gutter style, drainage requirements, and it also involves looking at how the exterior might impact on the interior. We consider construction techniques, and really assess how the plans will come to life. Occasionally we produce 3d models, to help us with orientation in relation to direct solar gain or shading, impact on neighbours, or simply to demonstrate a design and develop it further. The outcome at this stage is to produce a planning drawing pack that is submitted to the local authority on your behalf. We work with the Local authority, drawing on our experience in these matters to then help the scheme through whilst still ensuring we fulfill the brief requirements.
